Powered by the Intel JHL9480 Thunderbolt 5 controller, it delivers real-world transfer speeds of up to 6831 MB/s write and 6168 MB/s read, roughly double what Thunderbolt 4 or USB4 enclosures can achieve.
A deep-fin passive cooling design with high-efficiency thermal silicone keeps the drive stable under sustained heavy loads with zero fan noise, while an optional PD pass-through port lets you charge a laptop at up to 60W at the same time as transferring data at full speed. Tool-free servicing and a compact aluminium unibody chassis make it easy to carry between studio, office and location shoots.

No, the enclosure is fully bus-powered and works without an external power adapter. The built-in PD port is optional, it allows you to charge your laptop up to 60W while transferring data at full 80Gbps speed for maximum stability.
Is the TB504Mini compatible with the latest PCIe Gen5 SSDs?Yes. It fully supports PCIe Gen5 NVMe SSDs, as well as Gen4 and Gen3, allowing you to achieve maximum performance with the newest high-speed drives.
How does the cooling system work?It uses a fanless passive cooling design with deep aluminium fins and high-efficiency thermal silicone. This ensures 0dB silent operation while maintaining excellent heat dissipation even during prolonged high-speed transfers.
Can I fit an SSD with a pre-installed heatsink?Some SSDs with tall integrated heatsinks may not fit inside the enclosure. Acasis reserves the right to replace or upgrade internal components; check your drive's heatsink height against the enclosure's internal clearance before fitting.
